This stone appears as a more or less transparent mineral, offering astringent and hemostatic properties. Natural alum stone acts as an antiperspirant. It mechanically blocks the sweat glands and limits perspiration, unlike deodorants that merely mask odors.
To use it, wet the alum stone and apply it to clean, dry armpits. It does not stain clothes and remains effective for up to 24 hours, ensuring protection throughout the day.
