Hydration and Nutrition Face, what’s the difference?

The skin of the face needs nutrients to be healthy. Cosmetic treatments provide hydration and nutrition. It’s important not to confuse these two concepts, as they are quite different.

Hydration of the skin is effective when water is present in sufficient quantities. Dehydration can be linked to environmental factors (cold, sun, pollution…) or a lack of water in the diet. Inadequate cosmetic treatments can also be responsible.

When the skin no longer acts as a barrier, the hydrolipidic film becomes damaged. Nutrition of the skin provides lipids to ensure the function of this barrier. It produces sebum to maintain the cohesion of skin cells. The amount of sebum varies according to skin type.

Hydration and nutrition for the face should be part of your beauty routine.

Regarding the application method, apply the hydrating treatment first, followed by the nourishing treatment for the skin.
